Sam Woolf is a Boston based singer-songwriter who has gained national recognition as a Top 5 finalist on American Idol Season 13. Independent Grammy-winning producer Danny Blume produced and recorded an EP "Pretend" containing Sam's pop/ rock originals for release. It debuted at #9 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

Sam co-headlined at Lakewood Ranch Winterfest with the Doobie Brothers, War, and Jefferson Starship, opened for We The Kings' 10th Annual Homecoming Show, and has performed extensively at other public and private venues in Florida including Hard Rock Cafe Tampa, the Blue Rooster SRQ, Manatee Performing Arts Center, Sarasota Opera House, and the Bradenton Area Convention Center. He plays the Bradenton Area River Regatta every year. He was a participant at PINC Sarasota. He was also the featured performer at the recent Golisano Pro Tennis Classic. He was recently honored the Distinguished Alumni Award by the Manatee Arts Education Council.

He performed at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Here's an interview at the Festival . He also headlined the Opening Night Ceremony at the All American High School Film Festival in 2016, and at the premiere of "A Way Out" at the Sarasota Film Festival in 2015. He was the Grand Marshal at De Soto Seafood Festival. He has been a featured performer at other concerts and festivals like Taste of Manatee and Boston Arts Festival.

In Massachusetts he has played at Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston, Hynes Convention Center, Boston Park Plaza, Hard Rock Cafe, Boston Seaport, Lansdowne Pub, among others. He has performed at the PRSA Anniversary in Boston, the International Symposium on Gender & Equality organized by the French Consulate, the AAPHM Annual Assembly, among many other educational and corporate events, fundraisers. He is performing at ISPE and CANAR Conferences soon. He played the 2018 New England Food Trucks Festival. He's scheduled to play in a music series in North Andover and Bridgewater.

Venues in New York where he has performed include: The Bitter End, Knitting Factory Brooklyn, and Webster Hall.

New Hampshire venues include the Capitol Center for the Arts (where he was the featured performer at Alex Preston's concert), The Stone Church Meeting House, The Pasta Loft, Jewel Music Venue, Crowne Plaza Nashua and the Surf Club of Rye. He has upcoming events with Binnie Media.

He played the Ledyard Fair in Connecticut last summer and is performing at this summer's New England Food Festival at Mohegan Sun. In Rhode Island, he recently performed at the Misquamicut SpringFest and is set to play PVD Fest.

He has performed at many campus events in various schools, including Elms College, Suffolk University, Providence College, Wellesley College, Assumption College, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, Ringling College, Argosy University, Long Island University, among others.

Sam has been releasing tracks with the Como Brothers, produced with the help of Grammy nominee Kenta Yonesaka at the famed Germano Studios in New York. Here is their first release:

He continues to write originals with musicians from Berklee College of Music and others. One of these tracks, Stop Thinking About It reached #1 under Pop on He also released a single written with Stephen Puth (Charlie Puth's brother)

Sam is set to release more new music this summer. The website is being updated, but he's also coming out with new merchandise: He's releasing more songs with The Comos from their upcoming EP, Backbeat In The Morning soon.
